September 2012 Employee of the Month
Congratulations to Lori Neal!
As an employee of our Auto Group since April 2000, Lori has proven to be one of the most humble and caring employees we have. She assumes multiple responsibilities with most of her time dedicated to Payroll and Human Resources. She is located at our Chevy North store’s office.
When asked what she enjoys most about her job she replies, “The people that I work with.” She attributes her efficient abilities to her gracious peers who assist her when needed. She does a tremendous job with our payroll. We have over 325 employees and she handles their entire payroll on a weekly basis. Never bother her the first week of the month or the previous statements about her caring personality may be challenged!
Lori shares her philosophy to “never assume anything…ever!” which is extremely fitting for her modest and detail oriented personality. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog, Jack and spending time with her family. She has three children: Jason, Adam and Ashley and three grandchildren: Kaitlin, Liam and Wyatt.
She shares a story of her being a huge Jeff Gordon fan and a time that she got to meet him. Well, unfortunately she had herself too good of a time the night before their meeting and was too embarrassed of her appearance to shake his hand. After she completes her story she then shares another life philosophy, “Life really is too short so don’t take anything for granted.” Lori, your statement was a bit ironic to your story—you should have shaken his hand!
For the month of September the Jeff Schmitt Auto Group is proud to recognize Lori’s attention to detail, dedication and value to the company. We are grateful to have you as one of our own. Congratulations, Lori!
